Mike brings a wide variety of experience in motorsport to his new position at Pacific Throttle House. His first job in racing was as an 18-year-old junior mechanic at a Porsche specialty and race shop. Since then, Mike has worked as a tow driver for vintage racers; mechanic for a racing school; race driver for a dozen club and professional teams; driving instructor for go-kart, sprint car, stock car, formula car and sports car schools; private coach for multiple club and vintage racers; and marketing manager for a professional racing team. As a driver, he has raced and won at local and national levels, and while driving everything from dirt track sprint cars to front drive touring cars, he has gained the experience necessary to really understand the difference between a properly prepared car and an also-ran. As a student of the sport, he enjoys learning everything he can about the the technical side of the sport, and as a fan he dedicates himself to studying the history of motor racing. At Pacific Throttle House, Mike’s setup and development experience and coaching abilities really help us to give our customer’s a jump on the competition.
